17th Annual Yonkers Artist Show case (Yonkers Arts)
Yonkers Arts was proud to invite you to one of our most exciting exhibitions of the year!
In its 17th year, the Yonkers Artist Showcase continued its tradition of spotlighting the incredible depth, diversity, and passion of our local creative community.
Featuring artwork from over 50 featured Yonkers Artists, this showcase was a curated collection of works from contemporary painting and photography to sculpture and mixed media.

Words winter Exhibition (Yonkers Arts)
Yonkers Arts was pleased to present WORDS, a multi-disciplinary exhibition featuring the works of 65 artists. Words shape our lives connecting us to each other and convey our needs, desires, feelings, and wishes. 'WORDS' exhibition featured artist interpretations of words in traditional or non-traditional media forms of paintings, drawings, sculpture, photography, video, performance, and installation.

The People Gallery
Be among the first to experience The People’s Gallery, a landmark community exhibition celebrating the creativity and artistic voices of Delaware. Created as part of DelArt’s Delaware250 commemoration, the exhibition features work by up to 600 Delaware residents and DelArt Members, showcasing the remarkable breadth and diversity of our state’s creative community.

This exhibition is about a young man is a riches American Dream story of Geraldo Gonzalez, an uneducated, but kind-hearted working-class Puerto Rican American boxer, working as a debt collector for a loan shark in the slums of Wilmington, Delaware (Than working as a bus operator of NJ Transit).  Since he quit his job to move into a boxer. Geraldo, a small-time club fighter, gets a shot at the world heavyweight championship. The original script had a darker tone: Carlos was portrayed as racist, and the script ended with Geraldo throwing the fight after realizing he did not want to be part of the professional boxing world after all. During this time period, He comes out with his camera taken pictures of public transportation and travel throughout the country by car from Northeast cost to West Cost in Las Angeles CA within Public Transit system of Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, and North Carolina but most likely focus on Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Before he heading back to Northeast cost a women from Filipino wants a photograph of her with a New York City subway routes dress after she walked up to him right after she saw him with his camera taken photographs of buses and subways lines with full wraps in art. Excuses sir! Can you take a picture of me in front of the train with my dress?” He stands and photograph her with a train before she boarding on the subway line. Geraldo and the a women gave contact Information to get together while he return back to Northeast cost via car state by state. Meanwhile after returning back, 25 mins later in Philadelphia, Paul Reed and his boxing CEO Mike Baker hand a book to Paul to search a fighter whenever to face his world heavyweight championship for his boxing match in Philadelphia. So he picked ”Geraldo Gonzalez.”   Paul said to Mike Baker ”I’m drop him 1 to 3 body slam to the ground, LOL this is going to be a monster movie.” Geraldo’s boxing manger Carlos came to Geraldo’s Apartment for a visit to talk to him about he wants to become his Manger, Geraldo disagree and said” You asked me before and you never helped me, you just don’t care.” Carlos want a second chance as he knows it and he agrees this time. Both men are doing boxing training in weeks. after boxing training a same woman, she came from Los Angeles to Northeast cost for a visit and went on an Ice skating together, while they ice skating she asked him” Why do you want to become a boxer?” (Geraldo):” Well I just want to make money but it’s not a good sport to begin with but i should do something else but that all I got unit the end for my retirement.” She more worried that he will end up brain damaged if he doesn’t take the fight seriously. over the past years, He never throw punches to fight back due to his fears and couniting getting KO by a puncher in the ring at the boxing club in Philadelphia, Ever since he not a great professional boxer after all before it gets better to become a professional boxer after he faces against Paul Reed on his very first Match even if he lose to Paul Reed.

Radius is a collection of seven unique and concurrent exhibitions organized by 5 teams of curators. Each exhibition delights the viewer with interesting conversations provoked through innovative juxtapositions between exhibiting artists, and between exhibition themes offering diverse applications of processes and practices. Collectively, these seven exhibitions define a radius around authenticity.
The Artist-in-Residence Cohort (ARC) supports emerging regional artists through a structured program of mentorship, critique, and professional development. This year’s jurors—Dr. Casey Smith and former ARC resident Shefon N. Taylor selected four artists: Geraldo The King of Transit Gonzalez, Oscar De Paz, Tracy Tse, and Lucy West.

Celebrating 25 years of Honoring Delaware Individual Artists with the Delaware Division of the Arts

The Historic Odessa Foundation proudly presents Award Winners XXV, a milestone exhibition celebrating the 25th anniversary of showcasing the Delaware Division of the Arts' Individual Artist Fellowship recipients. The museum is honored to become one of only three venues to host this wonderful art exhibition. The exhibition opens Friday, September 19th and runs through Sunday, October 26, 2025 in the HOF Visitor Center, featuring the exceptional talent of artists selected for their outstanding creativity and skill in their artistic disciplines.
Each year, the DDOA awards fellowships through a competitive process open to Delaware artists across disciplines including choreography, composition, literature, and visual and folk arts. In 2025, the Division received work samples from 191 Delaware choreographers; composers; musicians; writers; and folk, media, and visual artists. The work samples were reviewed by out-of-state arts professionals who considered the demonstrated creativity and skill in each artist’s respective art form. Twenty-one artists were awarded fellowships in the following categories – one, Masters; eleven, Established; nine, Emerging; and thirteen runners-up.
These fellows reside throughout Delaware including Bear, Clayton, Dagsboro, Lewes, Milton, Newark, New Castle, Rehoboth Beach, Smyrna, and Wilmington. Their work—spanning painting, sculpture, fiction, poetry, choreography, and more—reflects the diversity, depth, and dynamism of Delaware’s creative community.
After its inaugural exhibition at the Historic Odessa Foundation and following its premiere over the summer at the Biggs Museum of American Art in Dover, Award Winners XXV will travel to the Rehoboth Art League in Henlopen Acres, expanding access to the remarkable work of Delaware's artists statewide.
An artist reception will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 6-8 pm where guests will meet and greet many of the award winning artists who will be present to discuss their inspirations and techniques.

The Smyrna Opera House is proud to invite local artists to showcase their work in our gallery on the third floor. Art enjoyers may see the artwork on display during business hours (Tuesday-Friday at 10am-3pm) starting May 19th-June 13th. Extended hours will take place every Thursday at 10am-7pm.
Patrons are invited to join us on May 21st at 6pm for an opening reception. There will be a bar, food, musical ambience, and artists available to speak with. This event is free to attend and the dress code is casually elegant.

Celebrate the creativity of Delaware’s finest artists in Award Winners XXV, a vibrant group exhibition showcasing the 2025 Individual Artist Fellowship recipients. Featuring work by choreographers, musicians, writers, visual and folk artists from across the state, this show highlights the talent and diversity of Delaware’s arts community.
Catch the exhibition at the Biggs Museum before it travels to CAMP Rehoboth and Cab Calloway School of the Arts.
Extranjera/o — No soy de aqui y no soy de alla.

Recognizing Hispanic Heritage Month.
This exhibit explores the identity of Hisanpic and Latino people living and existing in a place that is home but not home. “No soy de aqui y no soy de alla. (I’m not from here, I’m not from there.)” is the expression that captures the challenge of identifying with two very different places and cultures. This exhibit honors the sacrifices, the challenges, and the things left behind while chasing the American Dream. It honors those who came before us, our family members who sought a better future for us, and those of us seeking that future today.
